For SQL Server 2000, what objects and/or metadata are stored on the file system (if any) such that they can be backed up to tape from the file system and restored in the event of disaster? For example, where are DTS packages stored?
How about log files? When it comes to protecting objects such as server-level logins, I'm aware of need to script or otherwise document everything. Again, just concerned with potential file system stuff for now. Thanks.
