File.Copy causing SQL Server high CPU

Hello,

We recently have had a new windows cluster envrionment(node A/B/C) each node has 512 GB ram, we setup 10 sql server instances on each node, each instance contains 10 AlwaysOn groups, each group includes 10 databases.

Everything was fine until yesterday a high CPU (100%) spike was experienced in node A, and we believed it was caused by file copying on the windows system, as we reset the min/max memory for sql server( a bit lower than before), the CPU went back to normal (7%)right away.

So before the change we have around 3GB available, now we have 17GB available.

My question is will the sql server instance fight for the memory again? does anyone can share your experience? and what is the best solution/configuration for multiple sql server instance?

Thanks,

Albert
