Adding in another IP for cluster communication

Hi,

I have a 2 node SQL AAG which is showing some cluster related warnings and errors in the event log (failover happens over night). The AAG is setup using 2 nodes with a single NIC that is used for both replication and production traffic.

I'd like to add another NIC for replication traffic as per Ms best practice.
I'm planning on simply adding a second NIC on each node, enabling only TCP/IP and then changing the cluster IP address in the failover cluster manager wizard.

As a side note, my file share witness is on a DC and I'm planning on also moving that over.

Before I do this, I want to check whether there are any other potential issues I need to look out for?

Thanks
