SQL Cross Site High Availability - Configuration

Hi All, after testing my SQL DR Failover at the weekend I ran into an issue. The configuration is as follows:

3 Physical SQL Servers in a cluster.

Main Site: 2 x Servers with DAS. Including the quorum disk.

DR Site: 1 x Server with own DAS. (This does appear to have its own Quorum drive, but with nothing in there)

They are setup in HA (Async while live). The issue i had was that while testing fail over i could move the active DB server just fine. But when i turned off the two production servers on the main site (Including storage), the cluster service on DR shut down and we lost the DB. I did just turn this back on and restored connectivity, but does anyone have any ideas on why this happened?

I'm guessing it has lost quorum and so shutdown the cluster, is my configuration wrong? I inherited this setup so it may well be incorrect. I thought all nodes should be able to take ownership of the same quorum disk. Thanks, Carl.
