I am trying to create additional Multiple Availability Group Listener on a SQL 2012 AlwaysOn Availability Group running on Windows Server 2012 WSFC. My goal is to create additional Virtual Network Name for user to connect to the same SQL 2012 AAG.
When I try to do this by clicking on "Add Listener" in "Availability Groups" using SQL Server Management Studio I am getting the error "The Availability group already has a listener. Another listener cannot be added"
I did some research and it appears that it's possible to add additional listener using Windows Server 2008 Cluster Manager, but I am not seeing the same option on Windows Server 2012 Cluster Manager.
Is there a way for me to add additional Availability Group Listener either with Windows Server 2012 Cluster Manger or SQL Server Management Studio?
