2012 FCI cluster basics: IP addresses

Hello.  I need to migrate a standalone SQL 2008 R2 instance to a 2-node 2012 FCI cluster on new blade servers at one location.  I have a few questions, but let's start with network configuration and IP addresses allocation.  How many IP's do I need to allocate, and to what components do I need to allocate them to?  NICs, virtual services, etc.?  Do I need extra NICS for heartbeat network?  If the answer is 'it depends", then what are the dependencies?  Thanks.
