We are using Windows 2008 R2 SP1 and SQL Server 2014 (clustered). The DB Engine resides on Node 2, but in Node 1, we see thousands of this error in Windows Event Viewer:
initerrlog: Could not open error log file 'M:\MSSQL12.I3\MSSQL\Log\ERRORLOG'. Operating system error = 3(The system cannot find the path specified.).
Drive M is a resource of cluster in SQL Server group. This drive is already owned by Node 2. I don't know why Node 1 tries to access this drive while all resource including DB Engine are on Node 2.
This error is being logged every minute (or more).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
