Failover issue with SQL 2012 R2 Always on. pls help

Hi , I have a SQL 2012R2 always on Availability group setup, which all appears to be running fine.

One application is using a local SQL account, which I have replicated (SID) to the secondary node of the AG, using the SP, SP_HELP_REVLOGIN.

I have made sure the local account on the Secondary node has all the same permissions and securable.

When I do a planned failover of the primary to secondary, the Database in questions seems to become read-only for the application. ?

the webpage comes up, but none of the data updates in the application. so it can read from the DB fine.

I cannot see what the problem is ? it should work.

I suppose I could change the application to use a domain account, but would prefer to stick with the local SQL account if possible.

any ideas ?

Kind regards
