Multi Instance failover cluster guidance needed

Hi 

I want to add sql instance to the existing 2 node sql cluster.

On stand by  VM I choose New Failover cluster installation and what shood I choose on another?

Is it possible at all - both scenarios below?



(1)2 VMs -> 2 SQL instnces installed on each -> 2 Nodes cluster installed -> first node with 2+ independent SQL instances replicated on node 2

(2)2 VMs -> 2 SQL instnces installed on each ->  2 clusters cofigured -> 2 node each 

Any guide on that?
