We have setup 2012 R2 failover cluster with CSV disk. Now when we try to installDB, SSIS and SSAS on the cluster, we are getting cluster disk availability error. After some research, we found that SSAS role is not compatible on CSV disk and it has to be normal traditional shared cluster disk.
Point is, can we have all other cluster disk as CSV for DB,SSIS and only one shared disk as non-CSV for SSAS. is this a deviation from best practices ? can any one share Microsoft documentation with above scenario ?
