Transactional Log backup with no maintenance plan

Hi everyone,

Not sure how to fix the following issue:

have removed all maintenance plans (for the moment) but still have transactional log files generated every 5 mins.

This is on a full recovery database and the msdb.dbo.backupset shows these occurring.

Ideally we would like to use the maintenance plan to control when these happen to schedule around other jobs.

Where do I look?  How do I stop this?

If this cannot be prevented from occurring how can the frequency (time between occurrences) be modified?

This db has been migrated from 2005 to 2008 R2.
