I have a 2 node SQL 2012 Standard cluster. One of the nodes has unrecoverable errors and I would like to restore the VM from a SAN snapshot. But the snapshot is just over 30 days old so the machine account has expired and it can't login to the
domain.
Everything that I've read on that issue says to just re-join the server to the domain, but I don't see anything about how that would affect a cluster node. If I re-join it to the domain, will it still be in the cluster? Or should I evict it from
the cluster and treat it as a new node?
