I have 2 sql 2012 servers running on windows 2008...
I installed the sql installation to a fileshare on a third server and configured the quorum as a fileshare as well
The failover cluster seems to work fine however when i try to attach a database I get "Cannot access the specified path or file on the server. Verify that you have the necessary security privileges and that the path or file exists....
I have seen references on the web that in 2008 one must add a dependency to the cluster? That is not possible since I am not using shared storage
I also checked the permissions and I think we covered everything.....still every time I try to attach any DB I get the error.....
