How to see if a server is part of SQL resource group

Hi,

I have a single cluster with four nodes and four instances installed. Nodes A and B have two instances and nodes C and D have two other instances.

Is it possible to know if a node in a cluster can be used by a SQL resource group?

The only id I found is looking in the nodes if it has the sql services with the instance name that shows in the name of the SQL resource group.

I wanted to understand how the resource group knows which cluster node it can migrate to.
