Alwayson read-only secondary is not accessible via Listener

Hi Gurus,

I setup a 2 nodes Alwayson on Windows 2016 and SQL Server 2017. Everything work fine except when I try to connect readonly secondary through listener using "ApplicationIntent=Readonly" it doesn't find the secondary server and throw following error. If secondary server name is used instead of listener, it works fine.

"A network-related or instance specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: TCP Provider, error 0 - No such host is known.) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error 11001)

No Such Host is known"

I also have 2 separate setups of Always on with 4 and 3 nodes respectively on Windows 2012 and SQL 2016 which work flawless for years. Am I hitting some kind of bug?

Thanks in advance for your time :)
