Failover to secondary node not happen and primary DB is not accessible

Hi All,

I had one of the production issue today morning in share point database.The primary node tried to failover to secondary node but unfortunately not happen.

Most of the db's were inaccessible in primary node.I tried to open db but got error msg: "DB is not accessible.I tried to restart both primary and secondary node server and all db came online.Don't know exactly what happen.Need your help to find the root cause.

Version:SQL 20121 SP4

Error msg when issue happen in Primary Node:

Cluster Event:

Cluster resource 'SQLAG02P' of type 'SQL Server Availability Group' in clustered role 'SQLAG02P' failed.

Based on the failure policies for the resource and role, the cluster service may try to bring the resource online on this node or move the group to another node of the cluster and then restart it.  Check the resource and group state using Failover Cluster Manager or the Get-ClusterResource Windows PowerShell cmdlet.

No matching network interface found for resource 'SQLAG02P_172.20.65.18' IP address '172.20.65.18' (return code was '5035').  If your cluster nodes span different subnets, this may be normal.

Cluster resource 'SQLAG02P_172.20.65.18' of type 'IP Address' in clustered role 'SQLAG02P' failed.

Based on the failure policies for the resource and role, the cluster service may try to bring the resource online on this node or move the group to another node of the cluster and then restart it.  Check the resource and group state using Failover Cluster Manager or the Get-ClusterResource Windows PowerShell cmdlet.

The Cluster service failed to bring clustered role 'SQLAG02P' completely online or offline. One or more resources may be in a failed state. This may impact the availability of the clustered role.



Error msg in secondary node:

A connection timeout has occurred on a previously established connection to availability replica 'SQL01P' with id [88825377-469D-44D3-B964-6575AA9402AA].  Either a networking or a firewall issue exists or the availability replica has transitioned to the resolving role.

AlwaysOn Availability Groups connection with primary database terminated for secondary database 'SP_PROD_Portal_Content_Contracts' on the availability replica with Replica ID: {88825377-469d-44d3-b964-6575aa9402aa}. This is an informational message only. No user action is required.


Don't know exactly what happen.Need your help to find the root cause.
