All,

Today we have a cluster failover, and in the cluster logs observed the following:

SQL Server <SQL Server>: [sqsrvres] CheckQueryProcessorAlive: sqlexecdirect failed
SQL Server <SQL Server>: [sqsrvres] printODBCError: sqlstate = HYT00; native error = 0; message = [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0]Query timeout expired
SQL Server <SQL Server>: [sqsrvres] OnlineThread: QP is not online.
Resource SQL Server IsAlive has indicated failure.
HandleMonitorReply: FAILURENOTIFICATION for 'SQL Server', gen(0) result 1.
TransitionToState(SQL Server) Online-->ProcessingFailure.
rcm::RcmResource::HandleFailure: (SQL Server)
resource SQL Server: failure count: 1, restartAction: 1.

Where we can find out the Root cause for the above bold lettered events...

Thanks,

Satish Kumar.
