I have an SQL AlwaysOn with a big size of database log file (ldf) at primary database. However when I run Tasks | Shrink | Database And Tasks | Shrink |
Files from Management studio it isn't freeing up any space.
Unfortunately the machine that it is running on is running out of hard disk space. Any ideas on why this space isn't freeing up.
I am using sql server 2014, and here is mdf and ldf file on primary database.
- MDF file: 5.02 GB
- LDF file: 138 GB
