Hi,
we have a network with two win2008 servers. One is Domain Controller and the other is just member of the domain and an clean exchange server running version 2010
Two days ago a moron decided todo a fresh reinstall of the DC. He then added the users again. After this this the exchange server stopped working. It just hangs. After lots of research I found that the SQL server is not running on the exchange box. If I try to start it, it gives error: Windows could not start the SQL Server(MSSQLSERVER) on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a NON-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 17058.

I guess this could be some sort of permission issue? I made a new group called "SQLusers" and added all SQL-groups to this group. Then I made "domain admins" member of that group. My user is a "domain admin" member. But this did not help.
Any suggestion to how I locate the error?
Thanks in advance.
