Why Transactional and Differential Backups are not processing?

Dear Users,

In my company I have two separate physical servers upon which I am running SQL 2012 separately as DB1 and DB2. Now I have configure Always on High Availability group on these two boxes. Previously when this configuration was not implemented. I had few Jobs on DB1. The jobs were schedule like this. In the mid night a full backup was being taken by the Job on DB1. After that another job was taking differential backup after each hour and a third job was taking transactional backup after each 15 minutes. What I usually do is that I only take the latest full backup with its latest differential backup and storing them in the storage device. right after next day I delete all those old transactional logs and differential logs and keep the latest one.

Now my Issue is this: After making the AG, the history of the Jobs are showing that the Jobs are being executed. but physically there are not such files being created on the DB1 hard drive. I want to know why the execution is being a successful and transaction and differential log files are not being produced physically on the drive.

Why I am getting this situation. I need at least differential backup. Is it because of the AG configuration.

Please provide guidelines.

Azwar
