Version: SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 Standard
I've configured log shipping with following frequency:
-Backup: 10 minutes (alert threshold 45 minutes)
-Copy: 10 minutes
-Restore: 10 minutes (alert threshold 60 minutes)
The monitor instance is the primary instance itself.
All backup, copy, restore jobs are all successful, however LSAlert job is showing 14420 errors.
e.g.
The log shipping primary database A1DB.CA_PROD has backup threshold of 45 minutes and has not performed a backup log operation for 3 minutes. Check agent log and logshipping monitor information.
Notice 3 minutes is less than 45 minutes, but why are we receiving this error?
We don't want to disable the alert (as some suggests) because we would like to be notified when there is a real 14420 error.
Please help.
