I am pretty new to SQL administration but have been tasked with finding a way to replicate an on premise SQL 2012 server to a new 2012 server I have built in a cloud environment. The on premise server is SQL 2012 business inelegance version and the cloud version is 2012 STD. What would be the best replication type for me to use? I am wanting to replicate to the cloud server in case of a disaster here on site we would have an active copy in the cloud for users. I noticed when going through the publishing of the on premise server that I could not choose the P2P version of replication because it wanted an enterprise version. If I cant do the P2P replication what would be my best option to accomplish what I am trying to do? I appreciate your advice.
