SQL Maintenance Plan Wizard

Hi,

I have some question regarding Maintenance Plan Wizard.

I already create a rule to backup Citrix db and log, then shrink.

QUESTIONS:

1. Beside shrink db. Will it shrink log as well, because my log is big. Log big because of Full backup

2. Anyone ever try shrink Citrix XenDesktop and PVS db?

If yes, please tell me whether any problem after shrink Citrix db

3. I do db mirroring, that mean I need to do Full Backup instead of Simple Backup.

Am I correct?
