if you have 2 node active/passive cluster with several named instances of SQLServer. How do you find the SQLServer Virtual name on one of the hosts? The only way to connect to SQLServer is via Virtual name and in a situation I dont have that info - how can I find it in the registry etc etc
I know for sql 2005 - i can use configuration manager to identify the virtual name but in 2008 there is no config manager...
