We have WSFC with 3 nodes (2 in Primary Datacenter) with HA and 1 node in DR site.
We have SQL multiple instances running as Failover in Primary nodes and standalone SQL on node in DR.
We want to configure DB asynchronous replication with AG configuring between Primary SQL and DR SQL .
I have below query if anyone can pl. provide any pointers
- When AG replication happened between primary and secondary SQL , will it be a compressed data transfer?
- When AG replication happened between primary and secondary SQL, will be data encrypted ?
Few endpoints doesn't support encrypted data, do we have any solution for such requirements if data need to be decrypted and encrypted between endpoints?
