Is there a way to connect a AG replica when the replica is in "RESOLVING" state?

Hi,

I setup a AG ,and set the secondary replica readable, the primary replca is a clustered instance.

When i failover the primary replica to the passive node, the connection to the secondary replica is broken, and receive below error messages:

Msg 10054, Level 20, State 0, Line 0A transport-level error has occurred when sending the request to the server. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 

Unable to access database 'AdventureWorks2012' because its replica role is RESOLVING which does not allow connections. Try the operation again later. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 983)

So i want to konw is there a way to continue connect to and select data from the second replica when the primary replica is down or in a failover process?
